In mid-August, the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco debuted a series of new technologies that can flip our life and accelerate industry development. The technologies included merged reality for online-offline integration to enable a more intuitive experience, the Intel® Xeon Phi™ Product Family that supports high-performance machine learning and artificial intelligence, many models of Intel® Silicon Photonics 100G Optical Transceiver in quantity production now, as well as the support for optical connectivity between datacenters to cope with the challenges in future networking. These new technologies have demonstrated again that the value of data will be remarkably enhanced by artificial intelligence and 5G transmission will be a foundation for connecting many things in our life to make relevant industries more interconnected and smarter.

The Client Computing Group (CCG) also organized a Giveback Day event at office. On that day, more than two hundred CCG colleagues gathered during lunch break, prepared five hundred stationery gift packs, and wrote greeting cards to send the gift packs along with greeting cards to underprivileged families and elementary schools in remote rural villages. This was an attempt to encourage the children there to study diligently and happily at the beginning of a new semester.
