CCG Giveback Day provides stationery gift packs as a token of love to underprivileged schoolchildren
On September 19, the Client Computing Group (CCG) at Intel Taiwan organized a Giveback Day event at office to send love to remote rural villages. At the beginning of a new semester, CCG colleagues gathered at office and prepared five hundred stationery gift packs along with their hand-written greeting cards. The gift packs and greeting cards were sent to the underprivileged children taken care of by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families in Taitung and Nantou to encourage them to face up to challenges in life and study diligently for upward mobility.
At noon on that day, more than two hundred CCG employees gathered at the main conference room, where they were divided into teams to put pencils, rulers, rubber erasers, pen refills, and mini notebooks in the cloth stationery bags with lovely animal and Intel graphics, personally writing greeting cards, too. They also prepared lovely handbags that can carry books for the underprivileged children.
By preparing the stationery gift packs, CCG employees took real action to help those who are in need and also strengthened the cohesiveness among themselves to dedicate their love to develop a better society.
